An encounter overview has to answer several questions quickly: What is this case? What has been confirmed? What requires attention? What opportunities exist? What related work is already open?
Information hierarchy
The final direction establishes Encounter Details and Clinical Summary as primary context, followed by diagnoses, insights, opportunities and related issues.
Before & after
The redesign started from the existing encounter overview and focused on clarifying hierarchy, reducing visual noise and making the most important clinical context easier to scan before moving into action.
What improved
The redesigned page creates a more deliberate progression from encounter context to confirmed diagnoses, clinical insights, opportunities and related issues. The goal was not simply to modernize the visual style, but to make the page easier to understand at a glance and more useful as a starting point for review.
